Twin Cities Zinefest — Saturday, September 22, 12-6pm, Powderhorn Park Building, 3400-15th Ave S
60+ exhibitors! Fly Away Zine Mobile in the parking lot! A table for kids! A pop-up table for those who didn’t get a table, or who have only one zine–so bring your zine and plop it on the table–we’ll sell it for you. Screen Printing on the Cheap doing demos! Food by the touring vegan chef Josh Ploeg! Release of the 2nd Twin Cities Zinefest Encyclopedia (thanks MCAD!)
Twin Cities Zinefest Afterparty—Saturday, September 22, 8-11pm, Seward Cafe, 2129 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis… Music (Diva 93, DNR, Velveteens)! Snacks and treats from the amazing touring vegan chef Josh Ploeg. Donations requested–this is a hard working man. Bonfire! $3-5 with proceeds going towards next year’s Zinefest. Free with 2012 Zinefest button-get it at Zinefest for f-r-e-e!
October:
Albuquerque Zine Fest—Saturday, October 6, 10am-7pm, The Kosmos, 1715-5th St. NW. Tabling of zines, workshops, panel discussions, informal gatherings and sale or bartering of zine-inspired DIY crafts.
